Customer FOs: June/July

Thank you to guest blogger Kara for writing the monthly Finished Object posts!
 =================
Hello again, all you lovely people! The summer is winding down and fall is nearly here. We've had a brief taste of cooler weather in the past week that is making me long for chilly fall days all wrapped up in my knitwear. There's also the lure of pumpkin bread, hot apple cider, and pumpkin spice lattes when the weather cools - ahh, fall. It is by far my favorite season (if you couldn't tell from this long winded introduction). But it's not here yet and we still have the summer FOs to take a look at.

Up this time are the FOs from June and July. If you're wondering what on earth an FO is, it's a finished object -- any item knitted, crocheted, woven, felted, spun or otherwise transformed from Dyeabolical yarns or spinning fibers into another form (e.g. yarn knitted in to mittens, warp crocheted in to dishcloths, fiber in to a felted object, dyed top spun in to yarn).

First up, from Cindy at knitwonpurltoo, a bright and fun little baby bib made out of the Cotton Warp. This does make great baby knits, especially nice washable baby bibs! (project page)

Jamie took the leftovers from her mixed wave mitts (featured last time) and made a scrappy antimacassar using a pinwheel pattern. (project page)

Carrie used some Strong Arm Skinny in Dark (K)night to knit this great Vittorio shawl. I can't tell you enough how great this pattern is for variegated yarn. (project page)

Miranda turned some superwash merino roving (ooak color) into this lovely handspun (yarn page)....

...which then was knit into a beautiful Pogona shawl. (project page)

Christie took an 85/15 BFL/Silk roving in Blood orange and spun it into this great 2-ply yarn. (yarn page)

Casey (zephead), of the very awesome Tangerine Designs, turned a BFL/Firestar blend in Katatomic into this awesome yarn. I just love this one so much. (Kara does not need to learn to spin, Kara does not need to learn to spin...) (yarn page

Finally, Carrie finished two spinning projects this time. First up, Caucus Race (an old club colorway).

And then she plied two colorways together - Lucy and Bordello - to get this gorgeous yarn.
Lovely!

Another great group of projects for this time. As always, if you'd like to see your Dyeabolical FO featured here, let me (Kara) know either by sending it to me on ravelry (karamichele) or sending me an email at starmonkeybrass(at)gmail(dot)com.
