New Colors & New Fiber Bases

Fuchsia So Bright - A saturated fuchsia red; available on all of the yarn bases. Pictured on Tenacious Sock (left) and Polwarth Silk DK (right).

Gasoline Rainbow fiber - pops of blue, green, and natural peep out from underneath navy, burgundy, and orange-gold accents. Pictured on Falkland wool.

Gasoline Rainbow yarn - navy, burgundy, and orange-gold layered on top of blues and greens gives this variegated space-dyed yarn incredible depth. Every hank is slightly different. Pictured on Super Ego (left), Polwarth Silk DK (middle) and Superwash Worsted (right).
See all the fiber colors here. Sometimes I switch up the breeds of fiber I offer in the shop. There are some great options this spring and I am excited for you to try them. The Corriedale, Falkland, & Mixed BFL are carry overs from last year. They have proven to be favorites for me to dye and for customers to spin. The Blue Faced Leicester & Tussah Silk has an amazing crimp and is so, so soft. It is a luxury to spin. I am bring cheviot back after a long hiatus. The cheviot is from a new supplier and is a non-superwash. It has a feel similar to corriedale - not soft soft, but on the softer side of cheviot. It is an open & easy spin, good for socks and winter accessories. The shetland has a natural fawn/light brown color. It is a beautiful spin. The fawn-colored shetland is a special buy from the mill. I have stocked up, but once the mill sells out I may not be able to get it back for awhile. If you like the softness & loft of merino, but not the friction of spinning it, then you will love Targhee. Targhee is an American breed. It is also available by special buy from the mill and may occasionally go out of stock.
