Hello! If you subscribe to my newsletter then some of this might be a repeat. If you are not currently subscribed to the newsletter, you can subscribe by clicking here.
There is a chilly nip in the air and warm wool is just about the only thing on my mind. Over the last few weeks I have been doing a lot of experimenting with new dye techniques, researching new yarn bases, and researching new needles and notions. Expect a few new things over the next few months as we head further in to fall. *cough*sock blanks*cough*
Click here to see it all. You will find some of the most popular colors on popular base yarns, but you will also find some test colors that I am considering for next season (yes, already!). You will also find several listings of the popular retired yarn, Strong Arm Sock Yarn. Everything at the above link is in stock and ready to ship.
[P.S. There are currently no plans to offer Strong Arm as a regular base yarn outside of in-stock updates, but it will be available by special order. Just ask.]
[P.P.S. Browsing on a mobile device and confused about whether or not a yarn is in stock? Look for the wood background. Wood = ready to ship; White = dyed to order.]
variegated colorway and as a Dyed-to-Order Watercolor Stripes colorway. I hope you love it, too!
Amy shared some of her gorgeous handspun with us in the Dyeabolical FO(es) and WIPs thread on Ravelry. She spun this falkland wool in the Ricky colorway. Thank you for sharing, Amy!
Congratulations to Terry-Jo on her honorable mention at her local fair. She knit these gorgeous socks from a skein of Very Starry on the Sturdy base.
